The Modified O’Regan Protocol — aka M.O.P. — is very much a trial-and-error process. One child might respond best to pediatric phosphate enemas + Miralax; another might get better results with liquid glycerin suppositories + magnesium citrate. You won’t know until you try.
Our advice: Don’t stick with a product that isn't working or causes your child discomfort. There are plenty of options. The products here are recommended by families in our Facebook support group or in Dr. Hodges’ clinic at Wake Forest Baptist Health.
