Autism, ADHD, and Accidents
Treating Enuresis, and Encopresis in Neurodivergent Children
Service Description
In neurodivergent children, pee and poop accidents are often brushed off as “just part of the deal.” The real cause—chronic constipation—gets missed, and kids go without treatment. Families are left to manage the stress and mess, with no end in sight. Autistic children are especially vulnerable, as many can’t verbalize discomfort or explain they can’t feel the urge to poop. Dr. Hodges has a large caseload of neurodivergent kids and finds they respond well to M.O.P., often to their parents’ surprise. He shares his approach, including alternatives when enemas aren’t an option. WHAT YOU'LL GAIN: Real hope—and a clear, doable plan to help a neurodivergent child leave accidents behind.
